At JSU, we believe that technical education University should have strong links with the industry, so that current industry practices as well as technologies can be disseminated amongst the student community. Thus, since our inception, we laid a strong emphasis on developing long-lasting relationship with various reputed industrial houses by conducting guest lectures, seminars etc. hence, we leverage that relationship for placing our students in these companies.
The University has a well developed Training & Placement Cell headed by a Training & Placement Officer having close liaison with reputed public and private sector organizations. Its members interface with stalwarts of the industry on a day- to-day basis, for arranging guest lectures/seminars to share their knowledge and experiences. We also take our students for industrial visits and excursion. Members of T&P cell also interact with various companies for arranging summer training for second & third year students and campus interviews for final year students. Thus, despite a downturn in the industrial segment and a dull job market, we have been able to place most of our students. There are several companies with whom we have a relationship with respect to guest lectures and/or placements.
